New Branches Charter Academy is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Emerald School Award from Michigan Green Schools Initiative! As an environmentally-focused school, this an exciting announcement commending us for environmental efforts ranging from recycling, energy conservation, environmental protection and more.
New Branches Charter Academy has worked with the Michigan Green School Initiative since 2016, and as a newly certified Emerald School we are happy to know that our values of stewardship, environmental responsibility and community have paid off! We have worked on various projects from Watershed health testing to field trips at butterfly gardens in cooperation with our Groundswell Stewardship program, and our students are thrilled to be involved in the environment around them. Congratulations again to the New Branches team for this accomplishment!
