We have had a busy and fun February at New Branches Charter Academy! We celebrated our 100th day of school with our students, received a visit from a local orthodontist group to give a lesson on proper oral hygiene and celebrated Valentine’s Day with our student council.
The first of many celebrations in February was from Mrs. Reinke’s class, in which her students celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing as 100-year-olds.
Another fun celebration this month was from a local orthodontist group that visited our second graders to discuss proper dental care, with some of our students helping with the demonstration by dressing as teeth!
The last thing we wanted to celebrate at our school was our student council who created over 250 candy-grams as a fundraiser for our school community! This was a fun way to bring joy to those who participated and we were happy to see our young scholars get involved in sharing the love this Valentine’s Day.
To see what else we have in store this year at New Branches Charter Academy, be sure to stay up-to-date with us on social media and keep up with our blog.
