This week, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Ben Carson, former pediatric neurosurgeon and professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Carson, a Michigan native, spoke to our students about his early life, education and careers, and the many memories throughout his journey in medicine.
Accompanied by his wife, Candy, Dr. and Mrs. Carson encouraged the students at New Branches to follow their passions and emphasized the importance of utilizing their talents to be future world leaders!
