This week we had the privilege of having Maranda from WoodTV8 visit us to discuss the importance of outdoor learning. She helped us share how we take a different approach to education by teaching our students outside and having them engaged in their environment and in their learning.
Pine Rest also weighed-in on the piece complementing that our focus of hands-on, outdoor learning experiences are essential for healthy childhood development. They emphasized that spending more time outdoors is good for kids’ physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
