Josiah has worked for Trinity Health Saint Mary's hospital as a Respiratory Therapist and Sleep Technologist for 9 years and has been in healthcare overall for 13 years, stating that it is truly interesting and honoring to serve people during the times of some of their greatest needs. He, his wife and their daughter, (who attended NBCA between 2017-2022) recently moved to Cedar Springs after living in SW Grand Rapids for almost 8 years. He is active in his local church regarding attendance and being involved with various events. Being a member of the New Branches Charter Academy board has been motivating, enlightening and meaningful to him, and taking part to both help manage and work with NBCA students, families, and staff is both an honor and a privilege. He always enjoy getting outdoors however and whenever he can. (He actually briefly pursued a career in the National Forest Service years ago) Also, and more specifically, he loves and treasures time with his family. It doesn't have to be an exciting event or plan, but just enjoying the little things with family members is always a blessing to him.
